Program Outcomes – Fall 2025

  • 12 Texas State University students participated in the Fall 2025 cohort of the Music Business Foundations certificate program.

  • 7 students were directly connected with working industry professionals.

  • 4 students were referred to or applied for job opportunities and were successfully connected with companies such as SXSW and C3 Presents (producers of ACL Fest and Lollapalooza).

Among 9 post-program survey respondents:

  • All feel “confident” or “very confident” in their understanding of the music industry and how to navigate it.

  • 78% plan to seek internships and industry roles after completing the program.

  • 56% expressed interest in pursuing careers in artist management, sync licensing, or music publishing.
